UGH! The brown sugar is ROCK HARD. AGAIN. 
What  a waste. Guess I'll have to throw it out and run to the store...

Happy Monday, Bakers! This weeks tip is all about the suga'. The brown suga'.

Want your brown sugar to soften, STAT?? Just put the amount you need in a microwave safe bowl, with another small bowl of water beside it, in the microwave for 1 minute. Not quite soft enough yet? Put it in for another 30 seconds or so. Just be careful not to melt the sugar!

Not in such a hurry? Just put a few apple slices in your air-tight bag of brown sugar and leave it in there for a day or two. It will soften after one day, but get softer with 2. Just don't leave the apple slices in there for too long! (ewwww).
